In my life I have built two websites before I started on this one. Since I had a little bit of experience with HTML and CSS I thought it would be a fun challenge to make my own portfolio website instead of stealing a template from the internet. When I started designing my website I immediately knew I was going for a clean layout without a lot of colors and unnecessary additions. I chose to use dark wooden planks as a background to give my website a little bit of a rustic feel. In all the pages the background and the navigation bar are the same. I chose to use a black see-through box in which I place all the text on all the pages. On the blog pages there's a slideshow so the page won't me overcrowded with photos. On the portfolio page I made some test settings of how I'd like the links to my portfolio items to turn out. In the navigation bar I have created shortcuts to all the Blog and Portfolio pages.

Love,
Anna
