In the fourth module, our project was to design an installation that adhered to the theme of Post Singularity; a time when artificial intelligence is a reality and a lot of the functions overseen by humans in society are automated. The reason for this particular theme was because it was the theme of the art and technology festival GOGBOT 2016. Our project group reasoned that artificial intelligence would deem the earth precious as it has an atmosphere and climate that can support life, and it would realize that mankind was a threat. In order to cull our population, the AI would design an experience that every human has dreamed of at least once, the experience of flight. With this idea in mind, we designed a virtual reality flying simulator. Our design was so unique it got selected for the festival and our group was interviewed for the university's magazine. The link to the article is here.

We were also invited by the Twentse Welle, a museum, to display our installation at an exhibition they are organizing with the theme of Leonardo Da Vinci's flying machines where our installation shall serve as a digital version of his mechanical marvels. Our project video can be watched here.
