In the 6th module, our project team was assigned the task to combine two domains in order to create an intelligent, interactive system. Our project group combined the domains of meaningful play and smart textiles to make a learning aid to be used while playing games with the theme of meaningful play. The device allows teacher to explain complicated, abstract concepts using role playing related to the color displayed on the glove. This system involves the children in the explanation and makes the learning experience more kinetic and engaging.

The case our project used to demonstrate our system was the concept of the fire triangle. A minimum of four players are required. The three elements of the fire triangle; fuel, heat and oxygen are distributed to three players by assigning them colours on their device pertaining to the element. The last player is given the element of water. The aim of the game is for the fire element group to gather and stack their hands with the gauntlet on one top of each other in order to "make fire", while the goal of the water players is to put out the fire by adding their hand to the stack. You can see the product as well as the its use in the video below.
