My peer review
I had to review Paula Clemens Villa's website as my next WebTech assignment, which you can find here. So I did and I have to say that I was quite impressed. First of all because it was coded in html which not many people chose to do and which I respect as I myself am still coding in html as well instead of having switched to Wordpress. Secondly because the overall design was really good and everything worked nicely. Thirdly the content on the page was enough and of good quality. Lastly the only thing I didn't really like was the black background since I found it to be quite hard on the eyes. All round it's a really good website and can already be seen as an finished product. Reviewing this website showed me what a good website should look like and I now know what I could improve on my own website in order to make it look better, most definitely if I also use the review someone did for me. I also decided to check out how the blog page was made including the flipping of the pages. It turned out to be an background image and the flip pages thing is a link that loads a new page as an different part of the website. The reason that the book and the right side of the page are loose is because of a division she used to make sure that she could easily put the information she needed in the corresponding part of the page. Other than that it was quite normal for me, the hrefs, the way the navigition bar was set up and how you have to navigate around the website and the posts on the blog and portfolio.
