Entry 2: FM-radio transmitter - EE MOD 3 2018-2019

In this project me, Tom and Emilio made a FM radio transmitter that had a range of about 100m. This was done using an harmonic oscillator @107Mhz and a varicap which changed the oscillating frequency by about 40kHz. This project started of as a real struggle since these high frequencies come with all kinds of paracitic charactaristics. This meant that even a piece of wire could be considered as an inductor. However, we did get it to work and it was worth it. It is kind of surreal that when you take a random standard radio it plays your music if you tune into the right channel. The final product is displayed next to this post.
I have done this project with Tom Brunning and Emilio cuertez in order to finish Module 3 of Electrical Engineering on the University of twente.
