"February 3, 2020" - Into the backlog
It seems we planned our pestering poorly
The moderation team is currently on a backlog
So all new messages go to the auto-reply bot.
Which puts a bit of a damper on our plan.
I guess we will just have to wait for a reply.
"January 25, 2020" - A swift rejection
Unsurpringly the extended mix we submitted
Has been rejected after just over a week.
Turns out something went wrong when exporting
So the song had a horible high-pitch sound.
They told us to resubmit the song when fixed
Since they couldn't judge the quality well.
Definitely what we wanted to hear today,
After opening a dispute on the other song.
I wonder if on the other side of the screen
Someone is getting worked up about our stubornness.
Now we wait for another week,
After that we will start pestering them.
Because this is taking quite long.
"January 24, 2020" - Another rejection
As expected by the nitpicky tone last time
The second submission got rejected as well.
This time the moderators accused us of malintent,
Apparently we were gaming the system this time.
They thought we were impersonating a TV show.
However we never heard of this Malasian show.
Not only because they stopped airing in 2008,
But also since it only aired for 1 year,
In a grand total of 5 countries in Asia.
But Wikipedia says the auditions for season 2
Are currently being conducted until summer 2008.
So that is totally a trending topic right now.
"January 14, 2020" - The first rejection
Today we received really disappointing news.
The sample we sent in for moderation
Was declared unmarketable by moderators.
However they said that an extended mix
Might actually be more successful.
Because the quality was good,
It was just lacklustre in content.
As such we decided to reapply
with a different track than last time.
Hopefully they like this one.
"January 4, 2020" - Back for action
I have been working on minor projects
But none seemed worth talking about.
However recently I had a small success,
Together with a few friends of mine
I started an unlicenced record label.
Our goal is to one day become verified,
The first target will be Spotify,
Which we just requested access to.
We will keep you posted on our progress.
But for now we are awaiting approval.
"April 01 2019" - All jokes aside
Last week I went to a presentation by Achmea
And as per usual I didn't think much of it initially,
But afterwards I really felt like I learned something.
Even if the idea we came up with in the brainstorming
Wasn't what you'd call Ethnically apropriate.
"March 25 2019" - New Content in My Mix
Since the last blogpost My Mix has been update multiple times.
3 new countries have been added to this ever expanding list
And the variety just keeps increasing with every song.
One song looks like a horror movie,
An other one sounds like a song by K3
And I even found The Hardest Karaoke Song in the World.

"November 08 2018" - New Content in My Mix
For all the fans of Lucky TV, there’s a new music video added to My Mix.
This wacky and colourful song is made by a bunch of talanted memelords and singers alike.
However contrary to popular believe, you dont’t need to be musically incompetent to make fun of a good song.
On the contrary the amount of quality that has been put into this parody is simply remarkable.
So please if you have 4 minutes and 4 seconds to spare don’t think twice, just click already.
"October 17 2018" - Review of a website of similar fate
For the next WebTech assignment, I had to review the following webpage:

Starting at the homepage, where the name The Terrible Site was on full display.
Ironically, the homepage was actually quite interesting to look at.
However the contrast between the feeling the homepage provoked
and the white pages with loads of empty space that were the rest of this website,
gave the impression there was some kind of disconnection between them.
I can appreciate that you’d make a website yourself, since I did the same thing,
but it felt quite cold, plain and lacklustre, even just moving some pictures
and/or switching background colour, text colour or font would already change the feeling a lot.
I know colours and readability are difficult, my website isn’t that well made either,
But I do try to make my pages interesting in some way,
I also missed the ability to just click a link back to the homepage.
I wouldn’t have much of a problem with it if I didn’t know how easy it is,
I mean, I have one on the top of every page (excuding the extension pages for the gallery.
To end on a positive note, this website has more potential than it shows off,
but at least it’s consistent and not cluttered with unnecessary detail.

People have been complaining about my colouration, so I decided to have some fun.
"October 4 2018" - New posts in considerations
In the section "For your consideration", there’s new posts.
Yes indeed, posts, plural. I have been busy lately, so I wrote one,
however it was a bit short, so I decided that there would be 2 today.
I guess I never explained what aforementioned section is actually for.
I don’t think I even told anyone I wrote those pieces...
Sometimes when I get stressed, there’s different ways I can cope,
I’m used to releasing stress in a lot of different ways.
However, I can’t just keep doing the same thing.
I sometimes use escapism, distractions or "exercise",
But sometimes I feel pressured to be creative from within,
but I don’t feel driven to actually make anything.
That’s when I turn to writing, theorising and reseaching.
That is how these little poems and short stories come to life,
In a way it’s kind of poetic,
how my boredom and distaste for what must be done,
is actually the thing that keeps me going.

I’ve added some new posts of (not that) old drawings I made in My Complete Portfolio.
Usually I don’t draw things, but few know I’m actually a decent artist.
I like drawing, I just don’t do it that much and use a simple cartoony style.
So I hope you’ll take a look at my work in the portfolio.
"October 3 2018" - Feedback System
Today I’ve tried to make some kind of feedback system.
Obviously I say tried because as you probably noticed,
There are no polls or contact info on anywhere on this website.
I’ve tried to make a poll, but failed to do so.
So I thought I would fix it in my own way,
ofcourse I hope to get it working as soon as posibble,
but for now a Google+ page will have to do.
As for what I am planning to do about the layout,
I changed the layout of the different parts of the website
I won’t keep them all howeve, there’s no way that’d work.
After all if you’d put them next to eachother they’d clash.
But at the moment I’m not sure which one I should use.
I really like the font changes in the considerations and music sections,
but the white on black in the blog section feels a bit too harsh.
"September 26 2018" - About my plans
I know I’m kinda bombarding ya’ll with posts today,
but I wanted to talk a little more about the blog post I posted,
more specifically the Future plans I posted a week ago.
I know my layout and colourscheme are really basic,
but I prefer that, the dark backgrounds are easy on the eyes,
while the yellow and yellow text is easier to read.
I really like the combination of those four colours,
And the blue colours in the top section break up the page.
This is not the prettiest way to design a webpage,
But it would be pretentious to copy a template and call it my own.
However, that doesn’t mean I won't update my page somewhere in the near future.
Secondly there’s the My Mix section,
People might look at it and say: "What is this garbage?"
However, keep in mind it’s MY mix,
I can do with it whatever I like.
I’ll try to keep some variety to the list,
but I can’t help but like some genres more than others.

Finally it has arrived, the My complete portfolio page is finally out of beta-testing.
The first item on the list are Behind the Scenes immages of my website.
However in the future I might upload a few teasers for my projects.

The second post in For your consideration has been published.
It’s called Young Wings, named after the song of the same name.
The lyrics of the song are quite inspiring and profound,
However it felt wrong to just add it to My Mix,
Therefore I added it to For your consideration instead.
A link to the song has been added to the title of the aforementioned post,
So just click it and let your senses take over (and turn on subtitles for the lyrics).
"September 20 2018" - New feature: My Mix
Finally it has arrived, the My Mix page is finally out of beta-testing.
The first few tracks on my personal music list have been made public.
I hope you’ll extend your boundaries and explore the world of music.
Don’t just open your ears, open your mind and try something new.

"September 19 2018" - Future plans
Now that I’ve made a website,
I’ve been thinking about the future.
So, I came up with a few things.
First of all, there’s the portfolio.
Since I’m still in school,
I have enough assignments to showcase.
I might even add some teaser images...
Secondly, I wanted to make a playlist.
If you click a link to My Mix
then you can find a collection of music.
This collection contains all kinds of songs,
accumilated over time, by my intrests.
Lastly I would like to add a forum or contact page,
but that’s probably gonna take a bit longer.
"September 18 2018" - Surprising encounter at GogBot
On septembre 7th, I visited GogBot festival.
And among all the marvelous wonders of technology
one particular exibition, stuck out to me,
the only installation that wasn't finished yet.
Lifesize Dr Bibber, based on the game Dr Bibber (Operation, in English).
At first glance, it appeayellow as if the man running the stand,
didn’t actually know what he was doing.
He said he was developing a special new recipe, a recipe for edible slime.
For those who don’t know, shaving cream is often the main ingyellowient
But when making edible slime, you can't use shaving cream.
So then the challenge arises, how CAN you make it?
For all the amazing machines on display at GogBot,
none of them capteyellow my attention as long
as just talking to this guy and his failled attempts.
