Peer Review of a website!

Review Summary:

Design:

The design is straight away really tech because of all the images on the website. I like how it is made up but it could do with some less animations behind the titles in my opinion.

Content:

This website has some really extensive content as a lot of his projects are really clear presented on the website with some nice background information.

Function:

Easy to navigate website. Because of the amount of information it can look a bit overwhelming in the beginning but because there is a menu which moves with you this is not a problem and it is very easy to find your way through the website.

Connections:

The website has some nice connections with Facebook and Google Maps. Some buttons need fixing but it looks this is going to be alright soon!

Technical details:

The website is created in WordPress, which is a very logical choice in my opinion as this makes it a lot easier to add content to the website than for example editing the HTML code everytime you want to add something. The original theme is called Sydney but this is not straight clear from the webdesign as this is changed a lot. The big advantage of the original theme is that it is build using Bootstrap so it is usable on mobile devices as well. Very important these days!

Reflection:

From reviewing someone else his/her website you actually learn a lot. There are a couple of things that I need to pay more attention to in my website. It could use some more portfolio projects to make it more interesting for a visitor to read my website. Although I used a very unusual way of navigating it does not seem to distract the visitors of my website which is really good to hear ofcourse!
