Together with 4 other students, I was taksed to create the physical appearance for an Artificial Intelligence actor for a third person client in the course of 10 weeks. This client was Jordi Möllering, a dutch theatre maker and actor. 

We went thorugh the whole design process, from ideation to rapid prototyping. After lots of iterations and tests, we have proudly come to the final design ALAN. 

During the theatre play, ALAN will be controlled by Jordi. The options in terms of lights, smoke, sound and more are endless! Our client was more then statisfied with our work and so was our study program. We won the prize for best project of the module and got awarded a 10 as final mark. 

But what made us even more happy is that our client is keen to continue working with us and develop ALAN even further!

The outcome of this project is something I am really proud of, as well as the learning curve I have made along the way. I have learned tons about product ideation, prototyping and project management which I look forward to take with me to the projects to come!
