End exhibition

Presenting or videoproject 09 november 2017

So our first module as a Create student was finished and we had a big end exhibition. Here we had to show the video we worked on for the last two months, I worked together with Hester, Marjo, Paula and Raoul. We were excited to see if people liked our video and if everything worked. Our video turned out better than expected and was well received We made a detective but there were only some really small hints to guess the right ending, it was not the best video but people enjoyed watching it and we made it through the finals. After that we made it to the second place in the finals and were only one vote behind. I really liked the end-exhibition and it was very interesting to see what other people have made. There were some really complicated and original video and because everything was interactive it was also more fun to walk around and watch the video's.

The whole day in general was sometimes a bit messy, but it was also created by only 2 students which was impressive. The voting system could be a bit better because some people just got votes from facebook or whatsapp groups by asking random people to vote for their video. Maybe this could be done by paper so there is no chance of cheating. Overall I liked the day and it was a nice ending of the module.

Review of Jorik Groenevelds'website,17 october 2017

I reviewed jorik Groenevelds'website. The website is really good except for some small parts like the size of the menu and the logo.
The main page is a paralex scrolling website. This makes the images in between change and gives a really cool
effect. The website is clean and clear and has good sperations between different sections
You can see the website if you click here .

My personal touch

What makes my website mine 03 October 2017

I think the part that makes this website mine is that I use my own pictures and that I progamm in Html and Css.
I'm still looking for more images to place on this website and I will try to use only my own.
Because of the Html and Css the website is more personal then it would be with wordpress.
There are still parts copied and modified but a big part of the code is my own and this
makes it really mine.
I'm also working on my own logo together with a friend.

What makes my website mine 03 October 2017

One of the parts that makes my website mine is this logo which displays my initials.
A friend of me, Steven Kuperus, made it for me after some discussion and I'm really happy with the results
Another part is the pictures you find on the website like the front picutre. I took them all and none of
them are from the internet.

Creative Technology

Creative Technology so far,26 September 2017

So far I really like creative technology and most of the courses. My progress so far:

Introduction to computerscience: sometimes this course is a little bit confusing to understand,
but after most tutorials and doing the assignment I understand the subject a bit better.

Web technology: So far I'm happy with the progress I made but I'm still going a little bit to slowly.
I spend to much times on details I want to have right or effect I want to add while I should spend more time
on the assignment related tasks.

Programming: For progamming I have a little bit the same problem as for web technology. I spend to much
time on my own creature and modifying it and sometimes spend less time on trying the lecture related challenges.
Apart from that I think programming is going quite well.

Visual Communication: Sometimes it is a little bit hard to focus on all the small detailes but I learn
way more about how much tought goes in designing and that details are more important.
Other Courses: The other courses and lectures are all going good and I'm up with the schedule.

Gogbot

Robot
Tech festival Enschede, September 2017

2 weeks ago the GogBot festival came to enschede and brought all kinds of cool and weird installations.
There where robots, video's, games and installations that just didn't make sense.
One of the projects I really liked was the mirror installation you can see down here.
When you liked inside it looked like you entered another world, right in fron you could see some sort of sphere made of mirrors.
When you looked right down you could see yourself hundreds of times!
This installation was placed in de melkhal which was a really cool empty warehouse.
It had kind of a weird feeling to it and with many installations you didn't know what was going on
There was one really annoying installation where there was a room filled with smoke.
In this room there were loud noises and all kinds of light flashes which made you very disoriented.
Some installations where annoying but in the end I really liked gogbot and especially the general feeling
with all the people with different ideas an cultures
