PerfectPitch trains you for singing auditions: it helps you find the perfect pitch!

The simple design helps you check whether you sing in pitch, by giving you feedback.

It can hear your voice through a microphone and gives you feedback through LED's.

This is all made possible with the Arduino Uno and a Processing program.

With PerfectPitch everyone can learn how to sing! This product plays tones for you to repeat and tells you whether you sing in pitch. When preparing for a singing audition or an important performance, PerfectPitch can help you to sing perfectly in pitch! By using a menu in Processing you can choose a note to learn yourself, or you can push a button on PerfectPitch to hear a randomly generated note. By singing into the microphone, the installation receives the frequency of your voice, which it sends to Processing. In turn, Processing compares the pitch of your voice with the pitch of the note that was generated. It sends your results back to Arduino and five different LED's will tell you whether you sang in pitch, too low or too high. Pitch training has never been easier!
