About Me

Hey, my name is Thomas Rebel, I'm 24 years old and live in the Netherlands. In my freetime I like to make all kinds of things: Drones, tables, but mostly fiddle around in making games. In this portfolio, you can find the results of my projects. Hope you enjoy, and don't be afraid to contact me!

BSc Creative Technology

In Juli 2021, I finished my BSc Creative Technology. Creative Technology, CreaTe, is study focused on to familairise with all kinds of technology. Game Design, Robotics, Web Design, etc. Furthermore, CreaTe also has courses about Developing Products, Business and Group Projects(some of them can be found in the "My Work" section). CreaTe makes sure their students are versitale and flexible, which is very important in this continuous changing industry. The motto of CreaTe is thus: "Jack of all trades, master of none, though oftentimes better than master of one"

Drone Team

From September 2019 to Juli 2020 I participated in the Drone Team. This is a student team that participated in multiple drone competitions. I was very interested about drones, and how they worked, so I put my study for one year on hold to join the team full-time for a year. Next to learning about the ins and outs of drones, I also enjoyed working in a big group. I was one of the Project Leads, and helped in the finances of the whole team. The project that I lead was about lifting humans with drones. While weren't able to make it due budget reasons, I still learnt a ton of it.

What I’m good at?

Over the years, I acquired my skills. Many I got teached by my highschool and my University. Others I learnt from side project, and some others I just teached myself just out of pure interest. In the part below you can see what learnt over the years.
