FAQ

Q: Are tools included?

A: Yes, tools are included.

Q: Are seeds included?

A: No, but they can be purchased from the vending machine in the garden in handy combination packs for delicious recipes. Individual seed packets are also available for purchase in the garden.

Q: How does vertical gardening work?

Our modular planters make for an easy and quick build up of the greenhouse. The layout of the greenhouse can be adapted to its location, depending on the amount of users and the available space. We use vertical planters of 1 meter high, that can be stacked on top of each other, to create different configurations.

Q: What kind of seeds can I purchase?

A: We sell both individual types of seed as well as selected seed combinations. These combination packages come with instructions and corresponding recipes are provided, and are seperated into growing difficulties.

Seed vending machine

Our vending machine contains four types of seed packages: those with a green border are beginner seed combinations (for new users), those with a yellow border are intermediate seed combinations and advanced seed combinations (with a red border; for those who have been with us for a while or who have extensive gardening experience). Packaging without a coloured border is for individual seeds, if you don’t want to buy a whole recipe combination at once.

Selling seeds in combinations means that you won’t be stuck with kilos of nothing but the same type of plant, but can instead can combine several plants into delicious, fresh dishes. As well of showing you the difficulty level, the front of each seed packet contains the name of the recipe, what plants are included, how many weeks it takes in total to grow, and also how often it must be watered, so you can compare seed packages at a glance to see which one will suit your needs, expertise and budget.

When you sign up for our service, you are assigned a unique code as a username for the site. Because this username code is linked to your account, it is the way for the vending machine to charge the cost of a seed combination to your account, because you type in the code before selecting your desired packet/s from the machine.

Then, you simply take the seeds out of the machine and follow the instructions on the rear of the packet to get growing! The cost of the seed packet will simply be charged to your account.

Augmented Reality

  • Within your account you can track your plants. By scanning the QR code when you plant the seeds, you can digitally put you plants in the environment exactly you placed the seeds. When opening the website again, your account still knows where you put which plants.

  • Know when your plant is grown Trough swiping the bar you can see how your plant will grow. As a user, you can compare the plant on your screen with the real plant, to check if it is fully grown. To check if you can harvest the plant, use the ripe-charts provided in the tool cabinet. The site also shows how to harvest your plant, to keep your vegetables and herbs as healthy and fresh as possible.

  • Know how to take care of plants Your account saves data on all the plants in your garden. This is visible in the “my plants” section. When you click on a plant it gives you information on how to take care of it.

  • The best temperature The site knows what the plants need as the optimum temperature. You can look at the time of the year before planting seeds, but in our greenhouse the temperature is regulated to suit all plants we provide. Plants that need a higher temperature will take a little longer to grow.

  • Augmented Reality 1

Swipe the bar to look how your plant will grow. The bright coloured plant is the rea plant that you see through your camera. The semi-transparent plant is the way the plant will look like at the stage you selected with the slider. This is the augmented part. Information about the plant is given on the right.

    Augmented Reality 2

You can compare your plants to the AR plant at any time in the growth cycle, to see how much it still has to grow.

    Augmented Reality 3

When you think your plant is fully grown, compare it to the virtual plants final stage. If it looks the same, it is time to harvest!

    Augmented Reality 4

Aim your camera on the plot to see the differences and know the plant’s information. You can hold your phone vertical and horizontal to get the information
