Longboard

In my third year of secondary school I made a longboard from scratch which I still use today. It was a very informative project as I learned all the steps to making a product. I also had a lot of fun making it!
I made it so that I could have a longboard (since those are very expensive, and making one is cheaper) but also to credit it as a school project. A win-win situation.

Painting simulator

This is a program I made via Processing and P5.js. It allows the user to draw freely in the given canvas in multiple colors and marker sizes. I made it throughout September while learning the basics of Processing. I started the project the first week of CreaTe M1 to expand my knowledge and skills.
Since I’ve gotten all sorts of ideas on how to improve it with my larger library of knowledge. I’ll probably post an update some time.

Sketching exam

For the sketching exam at the end of M2 I made this spaceship. I think it looks pretty good and am proud of how far I’ve come with sketching this module. Still though, I see a couple of mistakes, ah well, we gotta learn somehow.

Video project M1

For Intro To Create in M1 I made an interactive video story with my group of 6 total through Ximpel. It was very fun to do such a project with my group of friends. We learned a lot in film making and Ximpel too.

Surpise

In Dutch culture we have something called surpises where everyone makes a creative housing for the present you give to the person you took with lots. This year I decided to take it up a notch, and let the CreaTer in me take over. So I made the game TicTacToe with microbits in a nice lasercut wooden housing 🙂

Custom Mechanical Keyboard

Custom mechanical keyboards has been a hobby since a couple months into quarantine, and this is the result. My very own. It was fun searching and researching all over the internet to find the parts I want, seeing if the pcb fits a specific plate and the same story with the case. Finding the perfect switches for my needs, and on top of it all, some nice keycaps (more are on the way :)) I’d say this was a success.

This the flappy bird game I made using the Blazor WebAssembly app during Module 3. Sadly I couldn’t get it to work on WordPress, so here’s a screenshot. It was fun to learn 🙂

I created my own 3D models for 3D printing. Here I designed and printed a toothbrush holder for in the shower in my bathroom.
