For visual communication we had an assignment to make 3 faces, inspired by a text we made out of
newspaper headlines. The following text is the text I created: Beware of todays historic DANGER.
The police promised safety but the PM is not spending the budget.
The feud about their opinions has been going on for weeks.
I chose danger as my keyword. I got some inspiration from 3 Disney fairy tales.
Visual Communication Assignment - Final
I personally liked the apple face and the nails & thread face a lot more than the candle face one.
That is why I chose these two for the final assignment. For the final assigment we had to make advertising posters for
companies from the global top 100. For the Apple Face I picked Disney, it fitted perfectly since the face was already inspired by Disney.
For the Nails & Thread Face I picked L'oreal Paris. Make-up is all about creativity and giving yourself a "new face". That is why I
thought L'oreal Paris would be a good fit for the face. I decided to make the picture black and white-ish except for the red thread,
because L'oreal does not use a lot of color in their ads. I kept the thread red because they usually do use some red or purple details and
because I liked the original concept of the red that stands for danger. Below you can see the posters I made.
