GOGBOT 2016

Recently, i visited GOGBOT 2016, a festival in the beautifull city of Enschede. The goal of this festival, which contains multiple expo locations and an afterparty, is to let people experience technology more. It is their aim to get people to feel technology more, interact with it, and have some insight in its endless posibilities. For me, it's a shame I couldn't attend the afterparty, it was a bit of a mixed experience, as I somehow expected more interactive tech, but also saw a few very impressing things. Like, in the top-left corner picture, a setup dedicated to the "The Broglie Wavelength". It stimulated a lot of different senses, which according to me is a good things, since its a mysterious topic, and you should feel weird around it.

There were also a handful of other cool-looking expo's, where I don't have a definitive thought on what the idea behind them was. But they sure were beautifull to look at, and made you wonder how the makers we're able to create such a thing. But then again, it leaves you wondering about the endless posibilities of tech, so for me it reached goal. You can download a more detailed report of two expositons >>here<<.
