SOUNDS OF MUZAK
SUPERSECT 超级派
SUPERSECT is a rock/metal band influenced by the likes of Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Rage Against The Machine, and kungfun. Formed by 5 friends, we pretty much just write whatever we want. I play the guitars here.

Kido Limbo is a progressive rock band formed between another 5 friends
because I wanted to practice my singing and write and play more
experimental music. Also, we have 2 keyboardists.
As of now, we only have one released song, Sea Whale.
Roles: Guitars, male vocals, arrangement, mix
For this song, I was tasked with humanising the MIDI drums and making
it sound more like a drummer was playing it instead of a machine.

These were my compositions for my final portfolio in my Music and
Audio Technology Diploma in Singapore Polytechnic. They were entirely
written, produced, recorded and mixed by me, and all the guitars and
vocals were performed by me.
This first piece, titled Early Reflections, was my attempt at writing
a 70s Progressive Rock piece, largely inspired by Genesis, Yes, ELP
and King Crimson. I experimented heavily with time signatures and
heavily utilised analog synthesisers such as the Hammond and the
Prophet.
This second piece, titled No Exist, sought to be simpler, focusing
more on songwriting and giving my sessionists a break. It was heavily
influenced by Porcupine Tree and Steven Wilson's style in general.
The following songs were composed for my GAM projects in Digipen.
