Final Expo M1

The final expo was held on Tuesday november 6.
Everyone that participated in the first module of CreaTe was there, showing his/her work to the others.
All our posters were fixed to a wall and every video project group was sitting by a table with a laptop, showing their interactive movie.
It was really fun to see what all the other first year CreaTers came up with. The atmosphere in the SmartXP was really nice.
All in all a fun experience. My advice for next year however, would be to do the expo after another something on campus so that
people, such as myself who have to travel quite a bit to get to Enschede don't have to travel 6 hours to have this 2 hour expo.

Her website looked really nice for a totaly selfmade HTML/CSS website.
The site had a really personal ring to it and the music and poetry where a clear central point.
The navigation worked really well as did the rest of the website.

A few elements that I might implement are an option to view just one blogpost at a time though I'm not sure yet.
I could implement some of the music I listen to but I don't think many people would appreciate that :p

for the basic design of my website I have used a template from "Codepen" and editted it quite a lot.
For example: the basic css used all different types of names for coloring that I've changed to just 2 forms.
So all the colors are now either color names: white or rgba: (5,5,5,0,6). So no more #s0M3Th1N9.
The colors used in the template were realy none fluent, like green on purple on yellow. I've changed those into blue and white.
I've changed the color of the heading, which was purple, into a logo of "University of Twente"
At first the navigation menu had really sharp corners so I rounded them off. Also the background is a picture now.

For our video project we are planning to make a superhero movie.
Where our protagonist has to make choices, those choices will then result in him being a good guy or a bad guy.
We have an appointment on Friday so then I'll know more.

Frankie
It was a fun idea and the execution was done nicely.
The shaping of the head was done really well and it made sense that a Frankenstein theme had to have an actual Frankenstein.
It was a shame that it was so loud at the expo that he could barely hear you through the microphone.
But it was really cool that, sometimes, he would actually talk back.

Whatever this was called
Although the idea of motion captur ein a non-realistic way can be pretty fun, I really didn't liek this piece because it was way to bright, making it hard to look at when its dark outside.
I also didn't like the forms and the shaping of some of the creatures.
Although it might have been intentional it just didn't make sense to me.
All this making it annoyingly present at the expo.
Big credits to the artist though, for making a full motion capture animation.
