Assignment #5 peer-review
On October 14, 2020 by ReinierThis is the site of Daisy Baars. I reviewed it for her according to the criteria we were given.
I learned to look critically at someone’s creations keeping in mind how they can further improve on it instead of taking it in a negative way. Luckily I have never talked/met the person up for review, otherwise it might have been harder to do.
One of the other things I learned through analyzing other sites as well, was that you can kind of pick out who made their site from scratch and who used the help of WordPress.
I also found a couple of things I could tweak in my site as well, they are on my to do list.
Analysis of Daisy’s homepage:
Her site was created by her all from scratch. No WordPress, no pre-existing theme or template.
It uses div’s, nav, a header, but no footer elements are used. There seems to be no use of special positioning, leaving it all up to standard. Also no use of plugins.
Summary of my review:
It has a clear color theme and navigation. But it lacks some design aspects like the whole page moving up and down when hovering over a link. She also misses any info on contacting her.
