We Create Identity Progress

A small update on what I'm doing

Current progress for module 1

The title explains itself well enough so let's just jump right into it. During this module I have quite a number of different courses for which I ofcourse have different assignments and different products and progress. So I'll just quickly go through them one by one. Web Technology as a first. So far my most enjoyable course since I really love to work on my website and make it move to be a more final and better product. It's one of the courses of which you can see what you're doing and the results of what you've learned. I'm already really happy with what I've managed to make these past weeks but I'd like to keep on working on my website and tweak a couple of things in order to be contend with the final result. Then programming as a second. Programming in a lot of ways is quite similar to how web technology works in this module. It gives you the same kind of practical exercises and results. The thing with programming for me is though that I find it harder to put more time in it since it gives you less results and is harder to do. It may just be that because I haven't spent as much time on it as I want to that makes me feel this way but at least the way my Claptrap looks like now makes me happy. Video skills was sadly enough just one week during which we were rushed to make a short video which didn't really result in much which is a bit saddening since I'd rather have had more of those lectures. Computer Science has been my least favourite course untill now. I just can't seem to get into the lectures and the assignments we have to each week are more tedious than anything. Which means that I don't really feel compelled to put more work into it. Intercultural Communications is just a plain waste of time in my opinion. During high school I had a bit of sociology and as such I know enough about the differences between people and culture and feel like it isn't really necessary to give an entire course about this matter that could be quite simply resolved if everybody just knows and accepts that everybody is different. Visual Communication has me feeling conflicted. I really like the discussing of each others pieces of work that we have to bring each tutorial but at the same time when I have to work to make my own piece I don't feel like doing that. Furthermore every lecture after we're done with the discussing of the pieces he gives a lecture on something which never really seems to interest me and as such tires me thoroughly. Lastly, even though this is the first module I already feel like I never have enough time to do what I want. Not with concerns to free time and being able to game, board or work out, but also with regards to the assignments which I always feel like I have to rush to hand them in before the deadline even though I most of the time would've liked to put a little more time into it so I could deliver a better and more complete over but never seem to be able to do so to the level that I want it to be. I don't even know if all this will be read and even if it is if it would be taken seriously but I really tried to put how I feel about the study so far into words here so if you want to contact me about some of the remarks I made then don't hesitate.
