For this assignment I had to review the site from one of my peers.
Carlos made his own theme on WordPress. i know that he uses WordPress because in the source it mentions the following: <meta name=”generator” content=”WordPress 4.9.8” />
Evaluation: it’s impressive how much he did on his own and I like where it’s going. I learned that, compared to his posts, i sometimes write a bit too much for a web post. I’m still used to writing essays so website writing is still new to me. I’ll manage.

General Information:
Nice, easy to read small texts describing the posts. No contact information but that’s understandable if he wants to remain somewhat anonymous.
Design:
The site’s theme was created by Carlos himself, which is impressive. The design elements are consistent throughout the site, which makes the navigation an easy process. It would have been nice if the posts were written in white, so that it’s easier to read.
Content:
A sufficient amount of posts has been uploaded. Carlos writes straight to the point, which keeps reading interesting. Some cases of unintentional misuse of a word with a similar sound, but this doesn’t hinder the reading.
Function:
everything on the side functions properly. the navigation is easy and only requires one click. it is clear where you can go and how you can get there. However, it isn’t clear what the active menu item is but that’s not too hard to add.
Connections:
there are no connections. it’s his decision which is understandable.
